Matthew 16:3-5
New American Standard Bible
3 And in the morning, ‘There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ (A)You know how to discern the [a]appearance of the sky, but are you unable to discern the signs of the times? 4 (B)An evil and adulterous generation wants a [b]sign; and so a [c]sign will not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah.” And He left them and went away.
5 And the disciples came to the other side of the sea, but they had forgotten to bring any bread.

3 and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.[a](A) 4 A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.”(B) Jesus then left them and went away.
