³⁴ All these things Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables, and He did not speak anything to them ^(A)without a parable.

⁶ Jesus told them this ^(A)figure of speech, but they did not understand what the things which He was saying to them ^[a]meant.

²⁵ “These things I have spoken to you in ^(A)figures of speech; ^(B)an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures of speech, but will tell you plainly about the Father.
