⁷² And immediately a rooster crowed a second time. And Peter remembered how Jesus had made the remark to him, “Before ^(A)a rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.” And ^[a]he hurried on and began to weep.

¹⁷ But when he came to ^[a]his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired laborers have more than enough bread, but I am dying here ^[b]from hunger!
