6 [a](A)True instruction was in his mouth and injustice was not found on his lips; he walked (B)with Me in peace and justice, and he (C)turned many back from wrongdoing. 7 For the lips of a priest should maintain (D)knowledge, and people should (E)seek [b]instruction from his mouth; for he is the (F)messenger of the Lord of armies. 8 But as for you, you have turned aside from the way; you have caused many to (G)stumble [c]by the instruction; you have (H)ruined the covenant of Levi,” says the Lord of armies.

7 “For the lips of a priest(F) ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger(G) of the Lord Almighty and people seek instruction from his mouth.(H) 8 But you have turned from the way(I) and by your teaching have caused many to stumble;(J) you have violated the covenant(K) with Levi,”(L) says the Lord Almighty.
