^24 (A)For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part ^[a]of the sky, shines to the other part ^[b]of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day.

³⁰ It will be ^[a]just the same on the day that the Son of Man ^(A)is revealed.

⁵ I have decided ^[a]to ^(A)turn such a person over to ^(B)Satan for the destruction of his ^[b]body, so that his spirit may be saved on ^(C)the day of the ^[c]Lord.

¹⁴ just as you also partially did understand us, that we are your reason to be proud as you also are ours, on ^(A)the day of our Lord Jesus.

⁶ For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work ^[a]among you will complete it ^[b]by ^(A)the day of Christ Jesus.

¹⁰ so that you may ^[a](A)discover the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and blameless for ^(B)the day of Christ;

¹⁶ holding firmly the word of life, so that on ^(A)the day of Christ I can take pride because I did not ^(B)run in vain nor ^(C)labor in vain.

² For you yourselves know full well that ^(A)the day of the Lord is coming ^(B)just like a thief in the night.

² that you not be quickly shaken from your ^[a]composure or be disturbed either by a ^(A)spirit, or a ^[b](B)message, or a ^(C)letter as if from us, to the effect that ^(D)the day of the Lord ^(E)has come.
