Luke 22:36-38
New Century Version
36 He said to them, “But now if you have a purse or a bag, carry that with you. If you don’t have a sword, sell your coat and buy one. 37 The Scripture says, ‘He was treated like a criminal,’[a] and I tell you this scripture must have its full meaning. It was written about me, and it is happening now.”
38 His followers said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.”
He said to them, “That is enough.”

New International Version
36 He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. 37 It is written: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors’[a];(A) and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment.”
38 The disciples said, “See, Lord, here are two swords.”
“That’s enough!” he replied.
