Leviticus 21:5

⁵^(A)They shall not shave any area on their heads bald, ^(B)nor shave off the edges of their beards, ^(C)nor make any cuts in their flesh.

⁵“‘Priests must not shave^(A) their heads or shave off the edges of their beards^(B) or cut their bodies.^(C)

³⁷For ^(A)every head is shaved bald, and every beard cut short; there are gashes on all the hands, and ^(B)sackcloth around the waists.

and every beard^(B) cut off;
every hand is slashed
