¹⁹ Then Joshua said to Achan, “My son, I implore you, ^(A)give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and give praise to Him; and tell me now what you have done. Do not hide it from me.”

¹¹ Now therefore, ^(A)make confession to the Lord God of your fathers and ^(B)do His will; and ^(C)separate yourselves from the peoples of the land and from the foreign wives.”

¹³ And ^[a]at that time there was a great ^(A)earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; ^[b]seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and ^(B)gave glory to the ^(C)God of heaven.
