¹⁸ but the hill country shall be yours. For though it is a forest, you shall clear it, and to its ^[a]farthest borders it shall be yours; for you shall ^[b]drive out the Canaanites, even though they have ^(A)iron chariots and though they are strong.”

¹⁹ Now the Lord was with Judah, and they took possession of the hill country; but they could not ^[a]drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had ^(A)iron chariots.
