⁵⁵ and ^(A)you have not come to know Him, ^(B)but I know Him. And if I say that I do not know Him, I will be ^(C)a liar like you; ^(D)but I do know Him, and I ^(E)follow His word.

⁴ The one who says, “^(A)I have come to ^(B)know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a ^(C)liar, and ^(D)the truth is not in him;

^20 (A)If someone says, “I love God,” and yet he ^(B)hates his brother or sister, he is a ^(C)liar; for ^(D)the one who does not love his brother and sister whom he has seen, ^(E)cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
