¹⁷ For God ^(A)did not send the Son into the world ^(B)to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.

³ And this is eternal life, that they may know You, ^(A)the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom ^(B)You have sent.

⁸ for ^(A)the words which You gave Me ^(B)I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that ^(C)I came forth from You, and they believed that ^(D)You sent Me.

²¹ that they may all be one; ^(A)just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, ^(B)so that the world may ^[a]believe that ^(C)You sent Me.

^23 (A)I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected ^[a]in unity, so that the world may ^[b]know that ^(B)You sent Me, and You ^(C)loved them, just as You loved Me.
