⁸But if people are bound in chains,^(A)
held fast by cords of affliction,^(B)

⁵The proud have ^(A)hidden a trap for me, and snares;
They have spread a ^(B)net at the ^[a]wayside;
They have set ^(C)snares for me. Selah

⁵The arrogant have hidden a snare^(A) for me;
they have spread out the cords of their net^(B)
and have set traps^(C) for me along my path.
