⁸And if they are bound in shackles,
And are caught in the snares of ^(A)misery,

held fast by cords of affliction,^(B)

⁸And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;

²¹Be careful, do ^(A)not turn to evil,
For you preferred this to ^(B)misery.

²¹Beware of turning to evil,^(A)
which you seem to prefer to affliction.^(B)

²¹Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
