6 For to (A)the snow He says, ‘Fall on the earth,’
And to the [a](B)downpour and the rain, ‘Be strong.’
7 He (C)seals the hand of every person,
So that (D)all people may know His work.
8 Then the animal goes into its (E)lair
And remains in its [b]den.
9 From the [c](F)south comes the storm,
And from the north wind the cold.
10 From the breath of God (G)ice is made,
And the expanse of the waters is frozen.
11 He also (H)loads the clouds with moisture;
He (I)disperses (J)the cloud of His [d]lightning.

and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’(B)
7 So that everyone he has made may know his work,(C)
he stops all people from their labor.[a](D)
8 The animals take cover;(E)
they remain in their dens.(F)
9 The tempest comes out from its chamber,(G)
the cold from the driving winds.(H)
10 The breath of God produces ice,
and the broad waters become frozen.(I)
11 He loads the clouds with moisture;(J)
he scatters his lightning(K) through them.(L)
