Job 24:19-21
New American Standard Bible
19 Dryness and heat (A)snatch away the snow waters,
As [a](B)Sheol snatches those who have sinned.
20 A [b](C)mother will forget him;
The (D)maggot feeds sweetly until he is (E)no longer remembered.
And injustice will be broken (F)like a tree.
21 He wrongs the [c]infertile woman,
And does no good for (G)the widow.
Job 24:19-21
New International Version
19 As heat and drought snatch away the melted snow,(A)
so the grave(B) snatches away those who have sinned.
20 The womb forgets them,
the worm(C) feasts on them;(D)
the wicked are no longer remembered(E)
but are broken like a tree.(F)
21 They prey on the barren and childless woman,
and to the widow they show no kindness.(G)
