¹² They have ^(A)lied about the Lord
And said, “^[a](B)Not He;
Misfortune will ^(C)not come upon us,
^(D)Nor will we see sword or famine.

¹⁷ They keep saying to those who ^(A)despise Me,
‘The Lord has said, “^(B)You will have peace”’;
And as for everyone who walks in the ^(C)stubbornness of his own heart,
They say, ‘^(D)Disaster will not come on you.’
