⁸ For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: ‘Do not let your ^(A)prophets who are in your midst or your diviners ^(B)deceive you, and do not listen to their interpretations of ^(C)your dreams which you dream.

¹⁰ and to another the ^[a]effecting of ^[b](A)miracles, and to another ^(B)prophecy, and to another the ^[c](C)distinguishing of spirits, to another various ^(D)kinds of tongues, and to another the ^(E)interpretation of tongues.

²⁰ do not utterly reject ^[a](A)prophecies, ²¹ but ^(B)examine everything; ^(C)hold firmly to that which is good, ²² abstain from every ^[b]form of evil.

²³ Now ^(D)may the God of peace ^(E)Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your ^(F)spirit and soul and body be kept complete, ^(G)without blame at ^(H)the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. ^24 (I)Faithful is He who ^(J)calls you, and He also will do it.
