Jeremiah 7:26

²⁶Yet they did not listen to Me or incline their ear, but ^(A)stiffened their neck; they ^(B)did more evil than their fathers.

Jeremiah 7:26

New International Version

²⁶But they did not listen to me or pay attention.^(A) They were stiff-necked^(B) and did more evil than their ancestors.’^(C)

²⁶Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

²³Yet they ^(A)did not listen or incline their ears, but ^(B)stiffened their necks so as not to listen or accept discipline.

²³Yet they did not listen or pay attention;^(A) they were stiff-necked^(B) and would not listen or respond to discipline.^(C)

²³But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.
