    cries of great havoc and destruction.
⁴ Moab will be broken;
    her little ones will cry out.^[a]
5 They go up the hill to Luhith,^(B)
    weeping bitterly as they go;
on the road down to Horonaim^(C)
    anguished cries over the destruction are heard.

²² The noise^(A) of battle is in the land,
    the noise of great destruction!

⁴⁶ At the sound of Babylon’s capture the earth will tremble;^(A)
    its cry^(B) will resound among the nations.
