Jeremiah 4:27-29
New American Standard Bible
27 For this is what the Lord says:
“The (A)whole land shall be a desolation,
Yet I will (B)not execute a complete destruction.
28 For this the (C)earth will mourn,
And the (D)heavens above will become dark,
Because I have (E)spoken, I have purposed,
And I have not [a]changed My mind, nor will I turn from it.”
29 At the sound of the horseman and archer (F)every city flees;
They (G)go into the thickets and climb among the rocks;
(H)Every city is abandoned,
And no one lives in them.
