¹² But it was uprooted^(A) in fury
    and thrown to the ground.
The east wind^(B) made it shrivel,
    it was stripped of its fruit;
its strong branches withered
    and fire consumed them.^(C)

¹⁵     even though he thrives^(A) among his brothers.
An east wind^(B) from the Lord will come,
    blowing in from the desert;
his spring will fail
    and his well dry up.^(C)
His storehouse will be plundered^(D)
    of all its treasures.
