Jeremiah 32:24-26

²⁴Behold, the ^(A)assault ramps have reached the city to take it; and the city has been ^(B)handed over to the Chaldeans who fight against it, because of the ^(C)sword, the famine, and the plague; and what You have spoken has ^(D)come to pass; and behold, You see it. ²⁵Yet You have said to me, Lord ^[a]God, “Buy for yourself the field with money and call in witnesses”—although the city has been handed over to the Chaldeans.’”

²⁶Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,

²⁴“See how the siege ramps^(A) are built up to take the city. Because of the sword, famine and plague,^(B) the city will be given into the hands of the Babylonians who are attacking it. What you said^(C) has happened,^(D) as you now see. ²⁵And though the city will be given into the hands of the Babylonians, you, Sovereign Lord, say to me, ‘Buy the field^(E) with silver and have the transaction witnessed.^(F)’”
