Jeremiah 20:8 New English Translation
8 For whenever I prophesy,[a] I must cry out,[b]
“Violence and destruction are coming!”[c]
This message from the Lord[d] has made me
an object of continual insults and derision.

He appears in the eyes of the people to be a false prophet.
