And rob the poor among My people of their rights,
So ^(B)that widows may be their spoil
And that they may plunder the ^[b]orphans.

²¹ Who ^[a]cause a person to be indicted by a word,
And ^(A)set a trap for the arbitrator at the gate,
And ^[b](B)defraud the one in the right with ^[c]meaningless arguments.

⁷ As for a rogue, his weapons are evil;
He ^(A)devises wicked schemes
To ^(B)destroy the poor with ^[a]slander,
^(C)Even though the needy one speaks ^[b]what is right.
