⁴ And He will judge between the nations,
And will mediate for many peoples;
And ^(A)they will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning knives.
^(B)Nation will not lift up a sword against nation,
And never again will they learn war.

⁵ For every boot of the marching warrior in the roar of battle,
And cloak rolled in blood, will be for burning, fuel for the fire.
⁶ For a ^(A)Child will be born to us, a ^(B)Son will be given to us;
And the ^(C)government will ^[a]rest ^(D)on His shoulders;
And His name will be called ^(E)Wonderful Counselor, ^(F)Mighty God,
Eternal ^(G)Father, Prince of ^(H)Peace.

³ And He will ^(A)judge between many peoples
And render decisions for mighty, ^[a]distant nations.
Then they will beat their swords ^(B)into plowshares,
And their spears into pruning hooks;
Nation will not lift a sword against nation,
And never again will they ^[b]train for war.
⁴ Instead, each of them will ^(C)sit under his vine
And under his fig tree,
With ^(D)no one to make them afraid,
Because the ^(E)mouth of the Lord of armies has spoken.

¹⁰ And I will ^(A)eliminate the chariot from Ephraim
And the ^(B)horse from Jerusalem;
And the ^(C)bow of war will be eliminated.
And He will speak ^(D)peace to the nations;
And His ^(E)dominion will be from sea to sea,
And from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.
