Judgment on Assyria

²⁴ The Lord of armies has sworn, saying, “Certainly, ^(A)just as I have intended, so it has happened, and just as I have planned, so it will stand,

²⁷ For ^(A)the Lord of armies has planned, and who can frustrate it? And as for His stretched-out hand, who can turn it back?”

⁴⁵ Therefore hear the ^(A)plan of the Lord which He has planned against Babylon, and His purposes which He has in mind against the land of the Chaldeans: ^(B)they will certainly drag them off, even the little ones of the flock; He will certainly make their pasture desolate because of them.
