And ^(C)declares to a person what are His thoughts,
He who ^(D)makes dawn into darkness
And ^(E)treads on the high places of the earth,
^(F)The Lord God of armies is His name.

⁸ He who made the ^(A)Pleiades and Orion,
And ^(B)changes deep darkness into morning,
^[a]Who also ^(C)darkens day into night,
Who ^(D)calls for the waters of the sea
And pours them out on the surface of the earth,
The ^(E)Lord is His name.
