¹⁹ I have not spoken in secret,^(A)
    from somewhere in a land of darkness;^(B)
I have not said to Jacob’s descendants,^(C)
    ‘Seek^(D) me in vain.’
I, the Lord, speak the truth;
    I declare what is right.^(E)

²⁵ But all the descendants^(A) of Israel
    will find deliverance^(B) in the Lord
    and will make their boast in him.^(C)

³⁶ “Only if these decrees^(A) vanish from my sight,”
    declares the Lord,
“will Israel^(B) ever cease
    being a nation before me.”

“Only if the heavens above can be measured^(C)
    and the foundations of the earth below be searched out
will I reject^(D) all the descendants of Israel
    because of all they have done,”
declares the Lord.
