Isaiah 40:11-13

¹¹Like a shepherd He will ^(A)tend His flock,
In His arm He will gather the lambs
And carry them in the fold of His robe;
He will gently lead the nursing ewes.

¹²Who has ^(B)measured the ^[a]waters in the hollow of His hand,
And measured the heavens with a ^[b]span,
And ^[c]calculated the dust of the earth with a measure,
And weighed the mountains in a balance
And the hills in a pair of scales?
¹³^(C)Who has ^[d]directed the Spirit of the Lord,
Or as His ^(D)counselor has informed Him?

Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket,
    or weighed the mountains on the scales

¹³Who can fathom the Spirit^[a]^(J) of the Lord,
    or instruct the Lord as his counselor?^(K)
