34 (A)By the way that he came, by the same he will return, and he will not come to this city,’ declares the Lord. 35 ‘For I will (B)protect this city to save it (C)for My own sake, and for My servant David’s sake.’”

36 Then the (D)angel of the Lord went out and struck 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians; and when the rest got up early in the morning, behold, all of [a]the 185,000 were [b]dead.

Isaiah 37:34-36
New International Version
34 By the way that he came he will return;(A)
he will not enter this city,”
declares the Lord.
35 “I will defend(B) this city and save it,
for my sake(C) and for the sake of David(D) my servant!”
36 Then the angel(E) of the Lord went out and put to death(F) a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the Assyrian(G) camp. When the people got up the next morning—there were all the dead bodies!
