²⁷ Behold, ^(A)the name of Yahweh comes from afar;
^(B)Burning is His anger and heavy is His ^[a]smoke;
His lips are filled with ^(C)indignation
And His tongue is like a ^(D)consuming fire;

³³ For ^[a](A)Topheth has long been ready,
Indeed, it has been prepared for the king.
He has made it deep and large,
^[b]A pyre of fire with plenty of wood;
The ^(B)breath of Yahweh, like a torrent of ^(C)brimstone, sets it afire.

“^(B)Render justice ^[a]every ^(C)morning;
And deliver the person who has been robbed from the ^[b]power of his oppressor,
^(D)Lest My wrath go forth like fire
And ^(E)burn with none to extinguish it,
Because of the evil of their deeds.

² Before the decree ^[a]takes effect—
The day passes ^(A)like the chaff—
Before the ^(B)burning anger of Yahweh comes upon you,
Before the ^(C)day of Yahweh’s anger comes upon you.
