Isaiah 28:13-15
New American Standard Bible
13 So the word of the Lord to them will be,
“[a]Order on order, order on order,
Line on line, line on line,
A little here, a little there,”
That they may go and (A)stumble backward, be broken, snared, and taken captive.
Judah Is Warned
14 Therefore, (B)hear the word of the Lord, you (C)scoffers,
Who rule this people who are in Jerusalem,
15 Because you have said, “We have made a (D)covenant with death,
And with [b]Sheol we have made a [c]pact.
(E)The [d]gushing flood will not reach us when it passes by,
Because we have made (F)falsehood our refuge and we have (G)concealed ourselves with deception.”

Isaiah 28:13-15
New International Version
13 So then, the word of the Lord to them will become:
Do this, do that,
a rule for this, a rule for that;
a little here, a little there(A)—
so that as they go they will fall backward;
they will be injured(B) and snared and captured.(C)
14 Therefore hear the word of the Lord,(D) you scoffers(E)
who rule this people in Jerusalem.
15 You boast, “We have entered into a covenant with death,(F)
with the realm of the dead we have made an agreement.
When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by,(G)
it cannot touch us,
for we have made a lie(H) our refuge
and falsehood[a] our hiding place.(I)”
