And the Lord [b]God will (B)wipe tears away from all faces,
And He will remove the (C)disgrace of His people from all the earth;
For the Lord has spoken.
And it will be said on that day,
“Behold, (D)this is our God for whom we have (E)waited [c]that (F)He might save us.
This is the Lord for whom we have waited;
(G)Let’s rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
10 For the hand of the Lord will rest on this mountain,
And (H)Moab will be trampled down in his place
As straw is trampled down in the water of a manure pile.

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
