Isaiah 25:8-10

New American Standard Bible

⁸He will ^[a]^(A)swallow up death for all time,
And the Lord ^[b]God will ^(B)wipe tears away from all faces,
And He will remove the ^(C)disgrace of His people from all the earth;
For the Lord has spoken.
⁹And it will be said on that day,
“Behold, ^(D)this is our God for whom we have ^(E)waited ^[c]that ^(F)He might save us.
This is the Lord for whom we have waited;
^(G)Let’s rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
¹⁰For the hand of the Lord will rest on this mountain,
And ^(H)Moab will be trampled down in his place
As straw is trampled down in the water of a manure pile.

The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears^(B)
    from all faces;
he will remove his people’s disgrace^(C)
    from all the earth.
The Lord has spoken.^(D)

⁹In that day^(E) they will say,

“Surely this is our God;^(F)
we trusted^(G) in him, and he saved^(H) us.
This is the Lord, we trusted in him;
let us rejoice^(I) and be glad in his salvation.”^(J)
