¹⁵ And the Lord will ^[a](A)utterly destroy
The tongue of the ^[b]Sea of Egypt;
And He will ^(B)wave His hand over the ^(C)Euphrates River
With His scorching wind;
And He will strike it into seven streams
And make people walk over in dry sandals.
¹⁶ And there will be a ^(D)highway from Assyria
For the ^(E)remnant of His people who will be left,
Just as there was for Israel
On ^(F)the day that they came up out of the land of Egypt.

² Why was there ^(A)no one when I came?
When I called, why was there no one to answer?
Is My ^(B)hand so short that it cannot redeem?
Or do I have no power to rescue?
Behold, I ^(C)dry up the sea with My rebuke,
I ^(D)turn rivers into a wilderness;
Their fish stink for lack of water,
And die of thirst.

¹¹ Then ^(A)His people remembered the days of old, of Moses.
Where is ^(B)He who brought them up out of the sea with the ^[a]shepherds of His flock?
Where is He who ^(C)put His Holy Spirit in the midst of ^[b]them,
¹² Who caused His ^(D)glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses,
Who ^(E)divided the waters before them to make for Himself an everlasting name,
