¹² So it will be that when the Lord has completed all His ^(A)work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, He will say, “I will ^[a]punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria and ^(B)the arrogant pride of his eyes.”

¹¹ I will hand it over to a ^[a](A)ruler of the nations; he will thoroughly deal with it. In accordance with its wickedness I have ^(B)driven it out. ^12 (C)Foreign ^(D)tyrants of the nations have cut it down and left it; on the ^(E)mountains and in all the valleys its branches have fallen, and its branches have been broken in all the ravines of the land. And all the peoples of the earth have ^(F)gone down from its shade and left it.
