Hosea 8:12-14
New American Standard Bible
12 Though (A)I wrote for him ten thousand precepts of My (B)Law,
They are regarded as a strange thing.
13 As for My (C)sacrificial gifts,
They (D)sacrifice the flesh and eat it,
But the Lord has taken no delight in them.
Now He will (E)remember their guilt,
And (F)punish them for their sins;
They will return to (G)Egypt.
14 For Israel has (H)forgotten his Maker and (I)built palaces;
And Judah has multiplied fortified cities,
But I will send a (J)fire on its cities, and it will consume its palatial buildings.
Hosea 8:12-14
New International Version
12 I wrote for them the many things of my law,
but they regarded them as something foreign.(A)
13 Though they offer sacrifices as gifts to me,
and though they eat(B) the meat,
the Lord is not pleased with them.(C)
Now he will remember(D) their wickedness
and punish their sins:(E)
They will return to Egypt.(F)
14 Israel has forgotten(G) their Maker(H)
and built palaces;
Judah has fortified many towns.
But I will send fire on their cities
that will consume their fortresses.”(I)
