5 [a]They will not return to the land of Egypt;
But Assyria—he will be [b]their king
Because they (A)refused to return to Me.
6 And the (B)sword will whirl against [c]their cities,
And will destroy [d]their oracle priests
And (C)consume them, because of their (D)counsels.
7 So My people are determined to (E)turn from Me.
Though [e]they call [f]them to the One on high,
None at all exalts Him.
