¹⁰ Then the servant took ten camels from the camels of his master, and went out with a variety of ^(A)good things of his master’s in his hand; so he set out and went to ^[a]Mesopotamia, to ^(B)the city of Nahor. ¹¹ He made the camels kneel down outside the city by ^(C)the well of water ^[b]when it was evening, ^(D)the time when women go out to draw water.

Moses Escapes to Midian

¹⁵ When Pharaoh heard about this matter, he tried to kill Moses. But ^(A)Moses fled from the presence of Pharaoh and ^[a]settled in the land of Midian, and he sat down ^(B)by a well.

¹⁶ Now ^(C)the priest of Midian had seven daughters; and ^(D)they came to draw water and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock.
