¹⁶ I will bless her, and indeed I will give you ^(A)a son by her. Then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; ^(B)kings of peoples will ^[a]come from her.”

²¹ But I will establish My covenant with ^(A)Isaac, whom ^(B)Sarah will bear to you at this season next year.”

¹⁰ He said, “^(A)I will certainly return to you ^[a]at this time next year; and behold, your wife Sarah will have a son.” And Sarah was listening at the tent door, which was behind him.

^14 (A)Is anything too ^[a]difficult for the Lord? At the ^(B)appointed time I will return to you, ^[b]at this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”

²³ But ^(A)the son by the slave woman ^[a]was born according to the flesh, and ^(B)the son by the free woman through the promise.
