¹⁸ On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying,

^31 (A)I will set your boundary from the ^[a]Red Sea to the sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates River; ^(B)for I will hand over the inhabitants of the land to you, and you will ^(C)drive them out from you.

⁷ Turn and set out on your journey, and go to ^(A)the hill country of the Amorites, and to all their neighbors in the Arabah, in the hill country, in the lowland, in ^(B)the ^[a]Negev, by the seacoast, the land of the Canaanites, and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates. ⁸ See, I have placed the land before you; go in and take possession of the land which the Lord ^(C)swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and their ^[b]descendants after them.’
