35 Then all his sons and all his daughters got up to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. And he said, “Surely I will (A)go down to Sheol in mourning for my son.” So his father wept for him. 36 Meanwhile, the [a]Midianites (B)sold him in Egypt to Potiphar, Pharaoh’s officer, the captain of the bodyguard.

Genesis 37:35-36
New International Version
35 All his sons and daughters came to comfort him,(A) but he refused to be comforted.(B) “No,” he said, “I will continue to mourn until I join my son(C) in the grave.(D)” So his father wept for him.
