8 Esau said, “I saw many herds as I was coming here. Why did you bring them?”
Jacob answered, “They were to please you, my master.”
9 But Esau said, “I already have enough, my brother. Keep what you have.”
10 Jacob said, “No! Please! If I have pleased you, then accept the gift I give you. I am very happy to see your face again. It is like seeing the face of God, because you have accepted me.

8 Esau asked, “What’s the meaning of all these flocks and herds I met?”(A)
“To find favor in your eyes, my lord,”(B) he said.
9 But Esau said, “I already have plenty,(C) my brother. Keep what you have for yourself.”
10 “No, please!” said Jacob. “If I have found favor in your eyes,(D) accept this gift(E) from me. For to see your face is like seeing the face of God,(F) now that you have received me favorably.(G)
