Genesis 31:40-42

40 This is how I was: by day the [a]heat consumed me and the frost by night, and my sleep fled from my eyes. 41 For these twenty years I have been in your house; (A)I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you (B)changed my wages ten times. 42 If (C)the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the fear of Isaac, had not been for me, surely now you would have sent me away empty-handed. (D)God has seen my affliction and the labor of my hands, so He (E)rendered judgment last night.”

40 This was my situation: The heat consumed me in the daytime and the cold at night, and sleep fled from my eyes.(A) 41 It was like this for the twenty years(B) I was in your household. I worked for you fourteen years for your two daughters(C) and six years for your flocks,(D) and you changed my wages(E) ten times.(F) 42 If the God of my father,(G) the God of Abraham(H) and the Fear of Isaac,(I) had not been with me,(J) you would surely have sent me away empty-handed. But God has seen my hardship and the toil of my hands,(K) and last night he rebuked you.(L)”
