10 Then you shall bring it to your father, that he may eat, so that he may bless you before his death.” 11 But Jacob said to his mother Rebekah, “Behold, my brother Esau is a (A)hairy man and I am a smooth man. 12 (B)Perhaps my father will touch me, then I will be like a [a]deceiver in his sight, and I will bring upon myself a curse and not a blessing.”

New International Version
10 Then take it to your father to eat, so that he may give you his blessing(A) before he dies.”
11 Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, “But my brother Esau is a hairy man(B) while I have smooth skin. 12 What if my father touches me?(C) I would appear to be tricking him and would bring down a curse(D) on myself rather than a blessing.”
