2 Sarah became pregnant and gave birth to a son for Abraham in his old age. Everything happened at the time God had said it would. 3 Abraham named his son Isaac, the son Sarah gave birth to. 4 He circumcised Isaac when he was eight days old as God had commanded.

New International Version
2 Sarah became pregnant and bore a son(A) to Abraham in his old age,(B) at the very time God had promised him.(C) 3 Abraham gave the name Isaac[a](D) to the son Sarah bore him. 4 When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him,(E) as God commanded him.
