⁷ And the Lord ^(A)appeared to Abram and said, “^(B)To your ^[a]descendants I will give this land.” So he built ^(C)an altar there to the Lord who had appeared to him.

³ Live for a time in this land and ^(A)I will be with you and ^(B)bless you, for ^(C)to you and to your ^[a]descendants I will give all these lands, and I will establish ^(D)the oath which I swore to your father Abraham.

¹³ Then behold, ^(A)the Lord was standing ^[a]above it and said, “I am the Lord, ^(B)the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give ^(C)to you and to ^(D)your ^[b]descendants.

The Journey Resumed

33 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, “Depart, go up from here, you and the people whom you have brought up from the land of Egypt, to the land of which ^(A)I swore to Abraham, ^(B)Isaac, and ^(C)Jacob, saying, ‘^(D)To your ^[a]descendants I will give it.’
