¹⁴ Since you are sent ^[a]on the part of the king and his ^(A)seven advisers to inquire about Judah and Jerusalem according to the Law of your God which is in your hand, ¹⁵ and to bring the silver and gold, which the king and his advisers have voluntarily given to the God of Israel, ^(B)whose dwelling is in Jerusalem, ¹⁶ with ^(C)all the silver and gold which you find in the entire province of Babylon, along ^(D)with the ^[b]voluntary offering of the people and of the priests, who ^(E)offered willingly for the house of their God which is in Jerusalem;

^26 (A)So I weighed into their hands ^[a]650 talents of silver, and silver utensils worth ^[b]a hundred talents, and a hundred gold talents, ²⁷ and twenty gold bowls worth a thousand ^[c]darics, and two utensils of fine shiny bronze, precious as gold. ²⁸ Then I said to them, “^(B)You are holy to the Lord, and the ^(C)utensils are holy; and the silver and the gold are a ^[d]voluntary offering to the Lord God of your fathers. ²⁹ Watch and keep them ^(D)until you weigh them before the leading priests, the Levites, and the leaders of the fathers’ households of Israel in Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the Lord.” ³⁰ So the priests and the Levites ^(E)accepted the weight of silver and gold and the utensils, to bring them to Jerusalem to the house of our God.

⁶ and Jeremiah the prophet said, “^(A)Amen! May the Lord do so; may the Lord fulfill your words which you have prophesied, to bring back the vessels of the Lord’s house and all the exiles, from Babylon to this place.
