The Passover Held

19 (A)The exiles held the Passover on (B)the fourteenth of the first month. 20 (C)For the priests and the Levites had purified themselves together; all of them were pure. Then (D)they slaughtered the Passover lambs for all the exiles, both for their brothers the priests and for themselves. 21 And the sons of Israel who returned from exile and (E)all those who had separated themselves from (F)the impurity of the nations of the land to join them, to seek the Lord God of Israel, ate the Passover.

The Passover

19 On the fourteenth day of the first month, the exiles celebrated the Passover.(A) 20 The priests and Levites had purified themselves and were all ceremonially clean. The Levites slaughtered(B) the Passover lamb for all the exiles, for their relatives the priests and for themselves. 21 So the Israelites who had returned from the exile ate it, together with all who had separated themselves(C) from the unclean practices(D) of their Gentile neighbors in order to seek the Lord,(E) the God of Israel.
