23 ‘(A)Make the [a]chain, for the land is full of [b](B)bloody crimes, and the city is (C)full of violence. 24 Therefore, I will bring the worst of the (D)nations, and they will take possession of their houses. I will also put an end to the (E)pride of the strong ones, and their (F)holy places will be profaned. 25 When anguish comes, they will seek (G)peace, but there will be none.
